## Stability is everything Pure L-ascorbic acid is effective but notoriously unstable — it oxidises quickly. Newer derivatives like THD ascorbate are gentler, oil-soluble and far more stable, which means your serum stays active for longer.

## Pair it wisely Vitamin C loves company. Ferulic acid and vitamin E boost its stability and effectiveness. Always follow with SPF in the morning for compounding protection.
